What is EasiScan?
EasiScan is a cutting-edge stock control app developed in-house by Easitill, designed to transform inventory management. This state-of-the-art App and handheld terminal, allows users to access and edit Back Office data seamlessly while on the go. Conveniently pre-installed on portable scanners, EasiScan ensures effortless inventory management, enhancing efficiency and accuracy with every scan. Its compact design allows it to be easily carried in your hand or pocket, providing unmatched portability and functionality.
Key Features at Launch
- Product Lookup: Easily find product information, including price, by searching with PLU, Product Code, Line Code, or Description. You can enter barcodes using the on-screen keyboard or scan them with the integrated barcode scanner.
- Editing Product Fields: Modify essential product details such as retail and trade prices directly from the device.
- Stock Take: Perform stock taking using various search criteria like PLU, Product Code, Line Code, or Description.
- Receiving Orders: Efficiently receive orders to keep your inventory up to date.
- Creating Orders: Create orders on the go, streamlining your ordering process.
Target Audience
The introduction of EasiScan addresses the needs of our customers who have been impacted by the discontinuation of Nordic terminals. Transitioning to an Android-based device, such as the Zebra, offers a cost-effective and highly portable solution. This shift not only provides a more intuitive user interface but also facilitates easier expansion of features over time.
Technical Requirements
For optimal performance, the Zebra model is our preferred hardware choice. Full Wi-Fi coverage is required in the area of device use. Additionally, the Master Till (Till 1), which hosts the API, requires a static IP address.
Performance Tracking and Analytics
Currently, EasiScan does not include integrated analytics or reporting tools. However, these features may be considered for future updates.
